Day 1: Plane Ride Across The Pond To Paris, France

Day 1: Plane Ride to Paris

Wow... we haven't even stepped foot into another country and I already feel as if I have learned something. We must not forget this experience; the people we meet, the things they say and things they do. For, if we forget, there is nothing gained passed the memory of a good time. This trip, I believe, will have so much more to offer than that one memory, that one trip of enjoyment. This trip, if approached correctly can impact all of our lives; the ones walking besides us, the ones we walk into, the ones we walk behind and the ones we will walk aside some day. The cause and affect of ones actions and reactions trickle to many others whom we may never know. So, we must share our experiences, our insights on our perspective... and hope, simply hope that it may help another... No matter their race, culture, ethnicity, religion or age. We must hope that we will make a difference in the world, the whole world and the whole people of the world.

Everyone has the desire to be accepted. From one being cradled in a mothers arms to one gasping for their final, most beautiful breath. As humans, we continue to crave the love of others, whether we admit it or not. We crave true love, whether we know the truth and the immensity behind that infinite love. We crave, we need, we desire. We must not compromise our ability to love or to be loved.

The middle level child, whom we are continuing to learn who this person is... also desires this much needed love and affection. In fact, it can be our love that changes their entire life, their outcome and their impact on the world.

We don't even have to know someone to love them. But this is a choice we must make every moment of every day... All the more beautiful it is because it is a choice, it is of our free will to love. It can be an opportunity that may pass and could quite possibly never return. Let's choose to love. I choose to love. To love my family, friends, peers on this trip, my professors, and the people I will meet here and back home. If we all love one another, and share that love with others... We may hope that it continues and that the cycle may never end.

Don't compromise your ability to love

      Lord, help me to love
