Today we explored the streets and beach of Valencia. We walked for miles upon end, which we should probably get used to. I actually think it's great how many people here simply walk or bike to get to their destination. I'm quite jealous of those who have bike passes, but they are only for residents of Valencia. It amazes me how many activities are going on around town; biking, roller blading, kids playing at the park, tennis courts, and soccer fields. The day ended with a great dinner and a visit to "Blah Blah" cafe (which has a great atmosphere).
The beauty of a true friendship is immeasurable. Matthew 5:44 says, "love your enemies and pray for your persecutors". So if we are to love those who may not love us and to pray for those who may not even pray... how much more should we love and pray for our friends, our family, those we love most in our lives.
